OUR STORY

How we started

 

As silly as it sounds Halo Donuts was a result of a mad (and very late) conversation with my husband (and Partner in Halo Donuts) Richard. After spending the evening watching an American TV programme which saw professional bakers and donut makers going head to head to create the most amazing creations with the craziness of ingredients, we joked that that was what the UK was missing out on. Good, quality donuts in flavours and toppings that you wouldn't buy from the high street! We wanted to avoid the stereotypical stodgy, greasy image of the donut and bring it to life in a different way - as a new kid on the block, as a competitor to the lovely cupcake! Lemon meringue, strawberry cheesecake, chocolate fudge are to name a few of our creations. But we wanted to offer more than that - a delivery service which would allow our customers to receive fresh sweet treats delivered to their door...and that was how Halo Donuts and our Company ethos  'from home to home' was born. Oh and did I mention that we do this around our 4 beautiful children?

 

Do we do anything else?

 

Not only do we offer the 'door to door' service locally but we also cater for parties, celebrations and birthdays...who needs a cupcake when you can have a donut! (We also have smaller donuts for little people parties too). Just get in touch if you would like to find out more.
